meet the cadets

USMA cadet-athletes comprise the ARMY WEST POINT Club Hockey team. All cadets must meet rigorous academic, military, and physical standards. Cadet team members originate from 15 states and played at High School Varsity, Midget Major AA, AAA, and Major Junior levels. Cadets who matriculate successfully from the USMA are commissioned as 2nd Lieutenants in the U.S. Army with an active duty commitment. If you are interested in attending USMA and joining one of the most successful ACHA DII teams in the country, visit our Prospects page.

Comeback Falls Short

Army looked to extend their three game win streak Saturday night, to no avail. A weak start in the first two periods dug Army a hole that they struggled to climb out of. Down 6-2 early in the third period the game appeared to be over, but led by Captain Matt Reihl (hat-trick), Army rallied scoring four goals throughout the third to tie the game with just two minutes left. A late offensive zone face-off for Wagner would end Army's hopes as they scored the game winning goal with just 30 seconds remaining. The Cadets are back in action Dec 1.
